shhhhh! don't tell!

hey everydoggy. my name is sophie. yeah, i know this is coco's blog. and i know you've been hearing about me from that thing that moved into my home last november. she's been talking about me behind my back while i've been sulking in mom's closet. anyway, she's taking a snooze right now, so i thought i'd sneak onto her blog, sit up and speak for myself, so you cuold hear the TRUTH about our situation.

here's me:

yes, i know. i'm pretty. a lovely, happy, smiling little beauty who was the delight of my mother's heart. i can do tricks, too. here i'm sitting up to make my mommy happy:

and that's how we all were - happy.

until one day when i wasn't paying close enough attention...

something very bad happened to me. a little jumpy, yelpy, annoying DOG came into my home. at first i thought it was just here for a little while, to maybe help with my mom's midlife crisis or something, but noooooooooooooo....

it is still here and it has taken over my home, my family, my yard, my toys, my treats, and everything else i held dear. my mom, dad, girl and even my boy make such a freakin' big deal about this thing they call coco. i do NOT see what the attraction is, myself. in fact, i honestly think it wants to eat me:

Oh Sophie...it's good to meet you. Glad you managed to get out of the closet! Listen, I know it's YOUR house and YOUR people and YOUR yard you might want to cut Coco some slack. She REALLY wants to be your friend...she looks up to you. Maybe you should give it a try and see what happens. Just a thought. I say this because I have an older sister (Sophia) who lives very far away and what I wouldn't do to be near her and hang out and learn everything from her.

Lots of Licks, Ruby

PS - I hope you can sneak on again and say hi!

sophie, my dear, I too was invaded by a little menace known as tanner. your family still loves you, but they may never understand why you can't stand the new addition.

Hi, Sophie.
I understand your point, but I think there is enough love in your home for you and Coco.
She is lovely. Give her a chance!

Hello Sophie

I know exactly what you mean. I was an only dog before. Suddenly my parents starting saying that I was getting a baby brother. Before I knew it, a pesky, noisy thing took over my home, my family etc.

I have come to the conclusion that the only way to handle this situation is to take the interloper by a firm hand and show them who is really the head honcho. That's what I do with my brother.

Hope it helps.

The Mighty Scruff

PS : Plese tell Coco thanks for dropping by my blog.

Aw Sophie, I know it must be hard when a new sibling arrives, but I bet that if you stop being a green eyes monster and take time to get to know Coco, having a little sis could be fun!

And I TRIED to warn you what was coming... so all I can say now is "I'm sorry." And I am. I know what it's like. *sigh*

And I think you should sneak on here more!

Hi Sophie it's nice to meet you. I had a nice home once to and then my mom brought home this thing she called Flash. Now I dont' like him a lot of the time but I bet if you give Coco a chance that you will find you like her some of the time like I like Flash.

Coco -- Oh no.. You are not too little. Ttia is a trooper, and Girl Girl the hamster too! So, anyone can join. The missions involve doggies and hamsters of all sizes!!! Think about it!

I totally agree with Ruby. You could even make this work to your advantage. You and Coco can work as a team to get even more snacks and attention, a cute dog is great, but two cute dogs are even better!!!!

Sophie!! Glad to finally meet you! I can't say I can relate cuz so far, I'm still the only furkid in my house. BUT, you may wanna talk to Fig (Tad's mean sister) or Joey (Tanner's brother). They should have some good advice for yah!

But trust me, one day you'll be glad that Coco joined your family. There's just more love to give!!

Hi Sophie!

good thing you manage to get out of the closet.

I understand you're a bit miffed of having anewbie in the house with all the attention on Coco.

But you could be a big sister to her and be the head of things! how about that?

You and Coco can be bestmates and I'm sure Coco loves you dearly.

I like that last picture.. But I'm sure Coco wouldn't want to eat you.. maybe there's a treat stuck on you or something.

Wuffs!
