And she thought it was a rock. Ha!

OH MY GOSH! You are not going to believe what I got today!!!!! Watch this!

Silly Auntie thought I just picked up a funny colored rock. No-ho-ho! I've seen other bigger dogs chew and eat rocks, but my palate is much more distinguished. This was FRESH ROBIN EGG!!! Auntie totally freaked out when she realized what it was -- you can hear her at the very end of the video! HAAAAAA! But then she wouldn't let me finish licking it. Come on! I only peed twice in the house today! I deserve a yummy treat!

But never fear, fellow doggies. Before she could close the door after bringing me inside, I RAN BACK OUT! as fast as my four wee little legs could carry me! And I got a big mouthful of eggy shell! WOO HOO! Then I ran and ran and ran so she couldn't catch me, but she stood by the egg and when I tried to sneak another bite she grabbed me! Boo!

Oh well. It was heaven while it lasted.

Coco, you are the cutest puppy, and I can see why you would choose to eat a beautiful blue egg for your breakfast! However, I am in sympathy with the robins, so please eat the treats that aunt Leah gives you instead! Bet you guys are having fun!

Well it was funny when your Auntie realized what you found, I think my mommy woudl have done the same thing.

But I think your auntie wants to protect the baby just like she would protect you.

Hey you Coco-Nut!!! I'm so jealous you get to spend 10 days with Massah-in-law!!!!!

Cool blog - the one BAD thing is that whenever you do something embarrassing or silly, it will be caught on camera and put on here for all the world to see.... I'd like to try an egg - I almost got one a few weeks ago, but Massah dragged me away. *sigh*

Hi Coco. I'd like to try to eat you.

Maybe that's why I'm never allowed on the ground when you're here....

Hi Coco,
What a gweat find, but toys are better to chop on, that way you don't hurt birdies.

Hahah, its so funny how your Auntie reacted when she realized what "that" really was!! Wow, I've never found anything like that before!! You scored BIG time!!

Is it just me, or is the egg green?? Are they normally green?

Luv,
Tobes

Coco, your Mom is so funny when she realizes what you have! You are a very clever girl.

Tell Mom eggs are very good for your coat. Maybe she'll let you have it then.

Hehehehe, you are a true terrior!! We hope there wasn't a baby in the egg though. We have a cardinal nesting outside of our kitchen window in the bush. Just waiting for the babies to hatch. We do find broken robin shells sometimes too out in the yard. We think the eggs fall out of the tree when squirrels mess around the nests. Maybe your Mama will let you have a chicken egg sometime on your food, yummy!
